FAQ

What is a Charter School?

Charter Schools are self-managed public schools approved by local districts, created and controlled by various stakeholders such as parents, teachers, community leaders, and colleges or universities. They follow nondiscrimination, health, safety, and accountability rules, offering innovative education to save costs and boost performance. Funded publicly but independently, they operate under a “charter” contract with a chartering entity, focusing on unique curricula and enrollment through impartial applications.
